The Irvine Institute of Technology is a private higher education institute founded for the purpose of contributing to California's educational system. IIT provides exceptional instruction and encourages the safety of man-made environments by educating well-trained and responsible engineers in Structural Engineering, Water Resources and Environmental Engineering, Transportation and Traffic Engineering, Building Construction, Land Development and Management, and Surveying and Geographical Information Systems. These disciplines play critical roles in safeguarding our homes, offices, schools, hospitals, bridges, and the infrastructure of our communities.
The Irvine Institute of Technology is an educational organization which complies with Article 9.5, Section 94931 of the Private Post secondary and Vocational Educational Reform Act of the State of California Education Code, Title 3, Division 10, Part 59, Chapter 7.
The Irvine Institute of Technology is approved by the Bureau for Private Post secondary and Vocational Education in the State of California to offer select degree programs. IIT is in the process of seeking accreditation from select technical accreditation agencies as programs develop. It is also seeking recognition by the State Department of Rehabilitation, the Veteran's Administration, and the Rehabilitation Unit for Workmen's Compensation.
Professional Engineering Development Publications is the publication branch of IIT. PEDP publishes and markets all publications used for IIT’s seminars and classes.
